Your questions about veterinary teleradiology
Veterinary teleradiology lets a clinic transmit its images (radiographs, CT, MRI) to medical imaging specialists for remote interpretation. The veterinarian receives a detailed report without needing an in-house radiologist.
At VEDIM, most examinations are interpreted within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. A priority service provides a report within a few hours for urgent cases.
Images are sent in DICOM format, by drag and drop on the VETFLOW platform or directly from your modality (CR, DR, CT, MR) to our DICOM server.
All reports are written by specialists certified by the European (ECVDI) and American (ACVR) colleges in veterinary medical imaging, whatever the species or the complexity of the examination.
A second reading by a specialist significantly reduces the risk of interpretation error. It provides a reliable second opinion on complex cases and secures your clinical decisions.
